Dedication

Almost nine years ago now, I took an oath:

I, Casey Head, do solemnly affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

You will notice that supporting and defending the constitution is given priority over obeying the orders of the President.

Because, he, like I, took a very similar oath to defend it. But it seems that this president, much as our last few, only intends to support his own concept of the constitution.

"to side with Justice Breyer's view of the Constitution--that it is not a static but rather a living document, and must be read in the context of an ever-changing world." But no one disputes that the Constitution "must be read," and applied, "in the context of an ever-changing world."

A living document to be interpreted and twisted, through judicial activism and progressive legislation to meet the "needs" of the times or simple political expediency. To become the framework that he and the other oligarchs think it should have been.

Call me old fashioned, I think the framers set the constitution as a landmark, "fixed and unwavering" save for the provided amendment process, to plot our course or judge our progress as a nation.

I am tired of you mountebanks in Washington wiping your asses with the constitution, as though you were so very much wiser than the founders of our nation. You are not worthy to dwell in their legacy.

As I soon make my transition from military life, I reaffirm my oath to defend the constitution, and keep whole. To this I pledge my life, my fortune, and my sacred honor.
